This session will provide ideas on where to look for partners, how to talk with partners, and when to begin partnerships. Examples of partnerships at North Orange Continuing Education will be discussed and experiences shared. Attendees will leave with templates for a partnership discussion.

Tips and practices to increase student retention, persistence and paired scores

We will review strategies and the model that helped our program increase our paired scores to become top 3 in our region. The presentation will speak about strategies used in the classroom, clerical, administrators and the whole team at SAS to encourage students to persist and for students to consider the CASAS assessment an ally. We will also discuss the use of CASAS and data to make data-based lessons and decisions.
