Join members of the South Orange County Regional Consortium as they describe how the consortium developed policies to address new CAEP legislation under AB 1491. The SOCRC team will lead you through activities that will guide you in the development of new or updated bylaws for your consortium. This presentation explores the collaborative efforts of the Rio Hondo Region Adult Education Consortium in organizing "Job-Alike" events. These gatherings unite staff members with similar roles, fostering peer learning and professional development. Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students. Facilities use agreements and data sharing have helped both programs to grow and build capacity.
