                                    Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students.                                     How Can teachers ensure that the knowledge and skill/s from the CCRS reading standards are explicitly taught and integrated with a text? This session will introduce participants to a generic reading lesson plan in which teachers can collaboratively design a lesson and apply it to any CCRS Reading Anchor Standard with any text.                                     Grossmont Adult Education (GAE) has developed an IET model that allows EL instructors to provide language literacy and fluency instruction to students across multiple CTE healthcare training programs by focusing on aligned CTE Anchor Standards and COAPPS.
