We will cover CK-12's interactive FlexBooks, which offer real-time feedback and customizable learning experiences. The resources integrate with your LMS. CK-12’s free platform allows you to adapt their resources or create your own including making your own worksheets interactive! Also includes ABE, ESL and CTE interactive resources.

The struggle is real! Student retention is one of the most critical challenges in adult education. When attendance is down, student progress slows, and educator frustration grows. In this session, we will explore the problem but, more importantly, seek practical solutions. Utilizing the innovative research and hands-on experimentation of adult educators across the country, teachers and administrators will gain applicable learning strategies and engagement activities to keep students coming back.

This presentation explores the collaborative efforts of the Rio Hondo Region Adult Education Consortium in organizing "Job-Alike" events. These gatherings unite staff members with similar roles, fostering peer learning and professional development. Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students. Facilities use agreements and data sharing have helped both programs to grow and build capacity.

This session will explore best practices, including mentorship, professional development, and inclusive teaching strategies. Participants will engage in interactive activities to brainstorm solutions and role-play scenarios, ensuring a practical understanding of how to support new CTE instructors effectively. Attendees will also learn about the unique challenges faced by CTE instructors in California.
