                                    Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students.                                     The SOCRC ELL Healthcare Pathway team will share how they put together a comprehensive plan to recruit students, train instructors, develop a support team and implement five distinct ELL integrated health care career programs in less than one semester. They will discuss how they were able to work across agencies to support students and instructors throughout the first cohort term and resolve issues as a team. SB554 provides a legislative framework allowing adult school students to concurrently enroll in community college courses, thereby accelerating their educational and career trajectories. Working with educators and aligning support with agency goals, OTAN can provide customized guidance on a number of technology integration topics. In this presentation, we will describe the project in-depth and how rural agencies can participate in this opportunity.
