Grossmont Adult Education (GAE) has developed an IET model that allows EL instructors to provide language literacy and fluency instruction to students across multiple CTE healthcare training programs by focusing on aligned CTE Anchor Standards and COAPPS. This model allows access to EL support for a much larger student population providing instruction in class, individually, and through the Canvas Learning Management System.

Integrating AI in adult education enhances ESL, GED, and CTE learning. AI-powered tools offer personalized lessons for teachers and feedback for the student while improving language and writing acquisition. AI tools target individual needs in academic subjects while help prepare the student for the workforce. AI tools can also be used to help students with cognitive disability disabilities improve their learning experiences at your agency.
