OTAN has technology tools for lesson planning. The Teaching with Technology tool helps identify lesson plans integrating technology that engage students, enhance their learning, and extend their learning. The OTAN Lesson Plan Builder helps teachers structure the parts of the lesson. At the foundation are the WIPPEA lesson plan model and the Triple E framework. We also discuss the impact of AI on lesson planning and how OTAN tools connect with a teacher's AI work.

Current trends and national data suggest that Western civilization is in decline or free fall, depending on the topic. The good news is that citizens believe educators will be the ones to turn it around. If we want to transform the system, then we have to start with transforming our beliefs about the system. That requires that we ask the right questions of our students, staff, and each other.

Real-world case studies, including the successful deployment of apps in California adult schools, will demonstrate practical applications in advancing career outcomes for students.

We will review strategies and the model that helped our program increase our paired scores to become top 3 in our region. The presentation will speak about strategies used in the classroom, clerical, administrators and the whole team at SAS to encourage students to persist and for students to consider the CASAS assessment an ally. We will also discuss the use of CASAS and data to make data-based lessons and decisions.
