Developing Member Effectiveness Assessment Tools: A hands-on workshop using practices from the South Orange County Regional Consortium (SOCRC)

Join members of SOCRC as they describe how the consortium developed a series of tools to measure member effectiveness to address AB 1491. The tools consist of a quarterly fiscal report, a facilities and equipment review, and an annual member self-assessment that ties to the three-year plan. The SOCRC team will lead you through several activities to get you started on the development of your own tools to meet the needs of your agencies.

Bridging the Digital Divide: How the Ventura County Adult Education Consortium collaborated with the Economic Development Collaborative to develop and deliver an aligned Computer Basics Program to over 400 people Countywide.

This presentation and panel will showcase how the Economic Development Collaborative partnered with the Ventura County Adult Education Consortium to develop and deliver a bilingual short-format Computer Basics course to over 500 people in under 2 years. Attendees will learn to build regional digital skills partnerships, align curriculum across consortia, utilize the FREE Computer Basics replication toolkit, and overcome implementation challenges.
