This proposal showcases the collaborative efforts between the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) and the San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) in fostering inter-agency transitions. Grossmont Adult Education (GAE) has developed an IET model that allows EL instructors to provide language literacy and fluency instruction to students across multiple CTE healthcare training programs by focusing on aligned CTE Anchor Standards and COAPPS. This model allows access to EL support for a much larger student population providing instruction in class, individually, and through the Canvas Learning Management System.
