We also consider using AI tools to create formative assessments. Formative assessment tools include poll and survey tools, tools to present and assess simultaneously, classic tools like Kahoot and Quizlet, and exit tickets. Attendees will practice and understand how to use these tools in the classroom.

The struggle is real! Student retention is one of the most critical challenges in adult education. When attendance is down, student progress slows, and educator frustration grows. In this session, we will explore the problem but, more importantly, seek practical solutions. Utilizing the innovative research and hands-on experimentation of adult educators across the country, teachers and administrators will gain applicable learning strategies and engagement activities to keep students coming back.
