In this session, the presenters will demonstrate how learner results and services received move from an update record to the CAEP Summary Report. During this hands-on portion of the session, participants will work in groups and reference scenarios to complete a student update record, utilize resources such as the Data Dictionary, and follow the student’s data across a CAEP Summary Report.

This proposal showcases the collaborative efforts between the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) and the San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) in fostering inter-agency transitions. Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students. Facilities use agreements and data sharing have helped both programs to grow and build capacity.

How Can teachers ensure that the knowledge and skill/s from the CCRS reading standards are explicitly taught and integrated with a text? This session will introduce participants to a generic reading lesson plan in which teachers can collaboratively design a lesson and apply it to any CCRS Reading Anchor Standard with any text. This integration leads to specific evidence of student learning and helps generate evidence-based instructional approaches and practices.
