Participants will discuss national perspectives on student success, the unique California adult education system, and the positive student outcomes of collaboration between adult schools and community colleges. Discover how the Lompoc Unified Adult Education Consortium (LUAE) and Southwest Riverside Adult Education (SRAE) took different approaches to achieve stellar results in promoting their programs. Despite their varied strategies, both consortia saw significant improvements in program visibility, enrollment growth, and an overall sense of pride in their service offerings.

This presentation explores the collaborative efforts of the Rio Hondo Region Adult Education Consortium in organizing "Job-Alike" events. These gatherings unite staff members with similar roles, fostering peer learning and professional development. By sharing best practices, challenges, and innovative strategies, participants enhance their skills and knowledge, leading to improved outcomes in adult education.

Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students. Facilities use agreements and data sharing have helped both programs to grow and build capacity.

Our luncheon program will commence with the inspiring journeys of Angeline Guzman and Ana Laura Romo from Norwalk-La Mirada Adult School. Each year, OTAN recognizes adult learners nominated by adult educators and staff across California. We look forward to celebrating these two with this prestigious award.
