EL Civics Civic Objectives and Additional Assessment Plans (COAAPs) can now be used with great success with ABE, ASE and CTE students. COAAPs are used for the instruction and assessment of real-life tasks such as completing a job application or consulting with a school counselor. CAEP agencies are encouraged to implement COAAPs in order to achieve Immigrant Integration (I-3) outcomes for ESL, ABE, ASE and CTE learners. Come learn how to help learners to achieve these outcomes.

We will review strategies and the model that helped our program increase our paired scores to become top 3 in our region. We will also discuss the use of CASAS and data to make data-based lessons and decisions.
