In this session we will introduce the Triple E Framework and emphasize the shift from using technology to occupy or entertain learners to focus on accomplishing learner goals. We will give examples of ways to include the Triple E elements in lesson plans. Finally we will include an example lesson plan and show how to add activities to engage, enhance and extend learning. Participants will be involved in the discussion.

This presentation and panel will showcase how the Economic Development Collaborative partnered with the Ventura County Adult Education Consortium to develop and deliver a bilingual short-format Computer Basics course to over 500 people in under 2 years. Attendees will learn to build regional digital skills partnerships, align curriculum across consortia, utilize the FREE Computer Basics replication toolkit, and overcome implementation challenges.

k12 Adult School Leverages Community College partnership to expand classes and increase payment points .

Apple Valley Adult School in Collaboration with Victor Valley College has increased enrollments and outcomes for both institutions. We took a look at students' needs and were able to increase ESL and CTE programs for our students. Facilities use agreements and data sharing have helped both programs to grow and build capacity.

College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) Integrated Reading Lesson Plan Template

How Can teachers ensure that the knowledge and skill/s from the CCRS reading standards are explicitly taught and integrated with a text? This session will introduce participants to a generic reading lesson plan in which teachers can collaboratively design a lesson and apply it to any CCRS Reading Anchor Standard with any text. This integration leads to specific evidence of student learning and helps generate evidence-based instructional approaches and practices.

Welcoming English Language Learners into Healthcare Occupations: How South Orange County Regional Consortium designed and implemented five comprehensive integrated ELL Healthcare Pathway programs with over 90 percent completion rate in one semester

The SOCRC ELL Healthcare Pathway team will share how they put together a comprehensive plan to recruit students, train instructors, develop a support team and implement five distinct ELL integrated health care career programs in less than one semester. They will discuss how they were able to work across agencies to support students and instructors throughout the first cohort term and resolve issues as a team. The presentation will culminate with the regional celebration of student success.

This presentation will explore the transformative impact of SB554 and the DARTE (Directing Adults onto the Right TrAC for Employment) Learning Community at San Joaquin Delta College. SB554 provides a legislative framework allowing adult school students to concurrently enroll in community college courses, thereby accelerating their educational and career trajectories. The DARTE program is a pioneering initiative designed to leverage this opportunity, creating equitable pathways for adults.

California Rural Agencies - Make Your Technology Goals a Reality!

OTAN’s Rural Coaching Project provides free specialized coaching and extended technical support to adult education agencies in sparsely populated areas of the state. Working with educators and aligning support with agency goals, OTAN can provide customized guidance on a number of technology integration topics. In this presentation, we will describe the project in-depth and how rural agencies can participate in this opportunity. Our goal is to support our rural adult education agencies!
