The good news is that citizens believe educators will be the ones to turn it around. If we want to transform the system, then we have to start with transforming our beliefs about the system. This presentation will explore the transformative impact of SB554 and the DARTE (Directing Adults onto the Right TrAC for Employment) Learning Community at San Joaquin Delta College. SB554 provides a legislative framework allowing adult school students to concurrently enroll in community college courses, thereby accelerating their educational and career trajectories. The DARTE program is a pioneering initiative designed to leverage this opportunity, creating equitable pathways for adults.

Drop the Rock: Learn More About California High School Equivalency and Proficiency Programs To Create the Ripple In a Student's Trajectory
