Victor Valley College is growing in admissions and our classes are offered at three different locations. Our counselors are also located on the opposite side of campus. The SOCRC ELL Healthcare Pathway team will share how they put together a comprehensive plan to recruit students, train instructors, develop a support team and implement five distinct ELL integrated health care career programs in less than one semester. This presentation will explore the transformative impact of SB554 and the DARTE (Directing Adults onto the Right TrAC for Employment) Learning Community at San Joaquin Delta College. SB554 provides a legislative framework allowing adult school students to concurrently enroll in community college courses, thereby accelerating their educational and career trajectories. The DARTE program is a pioneering initiative designed to leverage this opportunity, creating equitable pathways for adults.
