The workplace of the very near future will be based on the effective use of generative AI. Participants will learn how to use generative AI to enhance their classes in this session. Special emphasis will be on the effective use of AI to help students with this new work skill.

Participants will learn various strategies used in the Salinas Valley Adult Education Consortium, from using social media, to creating a short video to share with students receiving the survey, this session will highlight strategies to yield higher E&E survey response rates. Participants will also be encouraged to share their ideas so we can all learn from each other's best practice up and down the State of California.

During the presentation you will be given tips to develop your own survey and/or focus group. You will review the pros and cons of using surveys and focus groups. Current trends and national data suggest that Western civilization is in decline or free fall, depending on the topic. The good news is that citizens believe educators will be the ones to turn it around. If we want to transform the system, then we have to start with transforming our beliefs about the system. That requires that we ask the right questions of our students, staff, and each other.
