COAAPs are used for the instruction and assessment of real-life tasks such as completing a job application or consulting with a school counselor. CAEP agencies are encouraged to implement COAAPs in order to achieve Immigrant Integration (I-3) outcomes for ESL, ABE, ASE and CTE learners.
